I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate (64-Bit) FTW. System is running flawlessly with all the latest Windows Updates except for teh face that I am not able to sign into WLM.

Here are the message I get after a while of trying to sign-in. Clicking the repair option does not help. It says that I have an invalid IP. This does not happen on Windows 7 :(

    All other programs work fine.

    Please help meh

I now figured out the problem, I installed pidgin, same thing, tried any other program which uses the internet, it does not acknowledge that there is a connection

I am connecting using a USB modem that connects through a DATA Sim card from my phone line provider. What shall I do to have internet enabled for all programs and not only IE? This only happens in Windows 7 and not in XP
