Media Player 11 caused huge problems for my desktop (Media Center XP). It actually would not boot up - the fan would come on and the activity light for the hard drive and both would just stay on, but no boot up.
Had to unplug all the internals, remove the memory, remove the CMOS battery, wait, and re-plug/install everything. The PC was fine afterward, but I went back to Player 10 for now.
Media Player 11 is still in beta, so that may be why. -
I've also had some experiences with media player 11 not playing audio from dvds correctly on some machines. As pointed out it is beta. Overall its pretty **** good though.
