    Cant browse on the web???

    hey guys
    Im using windows XP
    even when Im connected to the internet, i cant browse through websites on IE and Firefox.
    I can only browse for 3-4 minutes after Im connected, but then sites just dont open.
    My downloads are going on at high speeds but even then I cant browse.

    Help

    and i just reset the connection.......still the same problem

    Maybe it's driver incompatibility. Your using x86 XP home right?

    . router type?
    . firmware up to date?
    . when was this happening?
    . xp uptodate?
    . direct connect worked with the router?
    . which virus scanner?
    . which firewall?
    . browsers' caches all cleared
    . any specific sites?
    . spyware scanning lately?
    ...

    router is all fine.......everybody can browse the net alright
    but not me

    well. short of understanding ur comp's environment a bit more, i suggest that u look at the profile of one of "everybody can browse the net alright", and verify it against urs
