I download them, install them, I even get the "successfull instalation" message.

Then when I try to access content that requires the use of flash or java, it tells me to install them, as if they were never installed. I checked my "programs" and java was installed. whats up with that?

By the way I have a sony tz191 I just made a clean install of Business yesterday.

Thanks to anyone that can help me.

Internet explorer. I really like vista, I just really hate the compatibility issues and that. I finally managed to install flash from a system32 folder and I had to change some stuff.

I mean we shouldnt HAVE to do that to get something as basic as installing flash player. Thats what sucks

I've been using vista for a while now and i didn't need to install flash, or java since they both supposedly came with my system. Maybe something was just wrong with yours. I don't recall anyone else complaining about this either. Pretty weird situation but you got it fixed, so it's no biggy.

I read in a foruma lot of people had the exact same problem. It has something to do when you do a clean install. which i did.

Its a lot faster. And I ony use up like 8gb of space! awesome.

    Navigate to the following folder:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash

Right click "FlashUtil9d.exe" and Run as administrator

    Good luck.
