My listing was removed by eBay

"The listing was removed because it violated eBay policy. We notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

The rights owner, Microsoft, notified eBay that this listing violates intellectual property rights. When eBay receives a report of this type of violation, we remove the listing to comply with the law"

Am I not allowed to sell this on eBay?

Almost every copy that you see on eBay was the exact same copy I was trying to sell.

It is illegal to transfer an OEM license.

You have to sell OEM with hardware, so just sell some hardware with the Windows OEM.

    Depends on if it's a 1pk or a 3pk. 1pk comes in a yellow padded envelope whereas 3pk come in a box.

The only way you can legally sell an OEM in that fashion is as a 1pk in the yellow padded envelope with the license agreement sticker seal intact or 3pk with the box seal intact.

If it's a manufacturer OEM disk (ie DELL), then that is not allowed. It also won't work on a computer other than the one it came with.

eBay is a major problem with this. They and I went three or four rounds with my right to sell a non-OEM copy, and the 'fight' ended with my taking my business elsewhere for some other stuff for a few months.

Don't even bother relisting. You're on eBay's watch list, and if you even try to post it again they won't wait for another complaint from MS.

In order to sell OEM copies, you must be registered as an OEM builder with Microsoft. Newegg, Dell, and any other retailer that sells OEM versions have done this, as have I. It's a very easy process, so you might want to look into it.
