I was just wondering if there were any applications out there that allowed someone to see what someone else is sending and receiving
    on there cell phones.

This isn't for me i'm not trying to spy on anyone or anything but my girlfriends parents might be they are the type they have to respect for her privacy and i could see them using anything that would allow them to see what she is doing at all times. For example i already know that they use the internal GPS in her phone to track her so i wouldn't put anything past them. If anyone knows anything please help me out thanks =D

Not really, no. What you're talking about is quite illegal, actually. If your girlfriend doesn't want to be tracked, she should turn off her phone. The only way to see what a phone sends and receives is by looking at the bill.
