Hello
this might be a stupid question, but how do you change the colours of the frames in Vista? Before the format, I managed in giving it an anthracite colour but I don't know how I did it.
Thanks.

Right click desktop>Personalize>Window color and appearance

I tried that but you have to mix the colours. I remember that you could choose some "pre-defined" colours and anthracite was one of them.
-
This right? I don't see that color that you're talking about. -
Ah yes, graphite, not anthracite. Where can you find that menu?
-
From what I told you in my first post...or you could go to control panel>appearance and personalization>customize colors
-
I would use a darker color since the lighter colors make the borders of the window not easily separated from others.
-
Well, for some reason I don't get that menu. It only shows colours like in Paint.

gf[be] have you modded your os in anyway because as mcgrady said, the menu is located at
Right click desktop>Personalize>Window color and appearance
if you've adjusted your appearance before for e.g. performance certain features may be missing including the ability to change colours etc at this location -
What OS are you using?
-
It's possible you have not enabled the aero theme in vista. You need to do that first by going to the theme menu and setting the theme to Aero.

That was it! I had Vista Basic enabled.
Moreover, the different windows aren't so "sticky" anymore. -
There is a bug in vista. No matter whatever color you choose, when you maximize a window the frame will always be black.
