This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Change default Save type in MSPAINT

    As the title says, I was wondering how to do this.

    OS: Vista Home Premium
    Default Paint Save Type: .jpg
    Desired Paint Save Type: .png

    Googling and trying the Top Vista Tweaks haven't shown me the answer yet. Note I don't want to change the default program used to open these files, just the type MSPAINT defaults to when I hit Save.
