When I loaded Sandboxie it appeared to automatically select Firefox 3. I would prefer to have Internet Explorer be the browser running in Sandboxie. Is there a way to switch the default browser running in Sandboxie?

You can select to have Shell integration of Sandboxie with the Sandboxie Control tab.
That way, you can right click on your IE icon and choose Run Sandboxed.
Or you can choose Forced programs in the Sandbox settings tab and enter Internet Explorer.
That way, IE will always be run sandboxed when you start it.
Check Sandboxie Control for all possible settings; link.
    Cheers.

I love sandboxie, was great with XP. I'm running Vista on one machine now, and wonder if sandboxie is still helpfull with Vista "protected mode".

It's a lot more trouble making changes in Vista (ie have to launch IE in NON protected mode, then go back into sandboxed browser), but I'm still running it. Is Protected Mode actually a safe alternative to sandboxie??
