So I'm in the midst of customizing my desktop more and I DL'd a nice pack of .ico's. I right click>properties>change icon>browse>select>ok but the icons don't change right away. I noticed them change randomly couple days later. How do I make them change right away. I was thinking of flushing the icon cache, but I'm thinking all that will do is reset it.

Specs in sig, Win7 taskbar(but its exactly the same on Vista)

    "Flush"/Clear icon cache then reboot

I attached a little exe that does this with nothing but a click.

So flushing icon cache does do this then? In that case, I know how to do this via cmd. Thank you though for that zip file.

BTW, do you know how to change MS Word or Skype icon on taskbar? They are greyed out in the change icon.

JUst go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12" make shortcut for Winword, change name of shortcut and icon, and then pin it to the taskbar, after unpinning the original ofcourse

Same goes with skype i guess..

Dont know why they would gery em out
