The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Changing the size of the taskbar and taskbar icons

    If you're like me who thinks the taskbar icons are too big along with the taskbar you can make them smaller. By clicking on properties in the taskbar and selecting "small icons" you'll get smaller icons along with a shorter taskbar. :)

    I've done that. Makes it look like the Vista taskbar (one of the few things I liked on Vista). You can also put the taskbar to one side, which makes sense with a widescreen computer, but I can't seem to get used to that.
