ok basically, there's a program that I own, and in order to use it, I have to have an active internet connection.

It starts up, contacts a server?, then if my license is still valid, it authenticates it, and lets the program finish starting up.

I want to see what information is being sent out, and what information is received that the program verifies that its ok to finish loading.

Because the program is on my laptop, and I am a mobile person, sometimes, I don't have access to an internet connection. Is there some way I can monitor what is being sent out, and what is being received in terms of bytes or something?

I plan on using a winhex editor or something, examining the information. I want to be able to fake the internet connection, and let me use the program at the end of this little project.

Getting around such DRM measures isn't something we discuss on the forums...
