Guys check disk keeps running each time i turn on my laptop with win xp.
It does not find any errors or anything and it takes just 15 seconds but its still annoying. How can i make it stop run each time i boot my computer?

Do you own a HP scanner by any chance?
Download CCleaner and clean the registry. Corrupted system registry is what causes this -
i use CC claner and Windows cleaner but i still get the same stuff each time i restart, really annoying. It started after i installed another GB of ram. Now i got 1,5 GB
Edit: i dont own a HP scanner

@flipfire: I've never had this problem, but read the article anyway. Not only was it interesting even to a guy who rarely uses Windows, that whole site looks like a good source of info. Bookmarked it so I can have a better look later; the forum there appears to need a closer review.
