This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Chrome and download managers

    Hm, did they fix this? :confused: Download managers like Orbit do not catch all the downloads. And, there's no way for you to download with Chrome if Orbit caught the download.

    They got it good in Firefox, where it's easily customisable.

    But this is not it. It's just supposed to Download all links.

    So, does anybody knows an addon or downloadmanager that works well?

    Chrome's download bar is indeed very poorly implemented. I'd like to join to the op's request for a better solution.

    According to the Firefox DownThemAll extension team, part of the reason why DTM isn't implemented in Chrome is because Chrome handles downloads differently, and arguably in an inferior way. This same reason is why many download managers that work great in FF don't work well after being ported to Chrome.
