Hey I'm using the Windows 7 RC, and installed chrome. Well it opens just fine (didn't set it as my default browser though), but at the address bar when opening up it says about:blank, and won't go to any website. Like any. My IE8 works fine, but I dunno what's going on w/ chrome. Help?

Assuming you're using the 64 bit Windows 7 try this:

Right Click Google chrome icon. Go to properties and in the shortcut tab go to where the target: textbox is. In the textbox type the following at the end of chrome.exe: --in-process-plugins

I figured it out. You have to download some extension onto chrome that switches it's "channel", whatever that means. You have to set it to the "dev channel", like the developer channel, then update chrome w/ the developer updates, and restart. Then it worked fine

SRWare Iron is better than Chrome. Doesn't collect data.

It isn't a extension, it's simply what branch you want to use. You do not have to use the Dev. version. There is the stable version and beta as well. However, I find the dev version pretty stable.

I fixed this by putting " --no-sandbox" at the end of the Target box in the Link Properties box.
