Ars Technica - Chrome reaches second birthday, version 6 goes stable
I have it downloaded and installed. It is super fast! The UI has been slightly tweaked. There is only one button in the top right now, as opposed to two.
Happy Birthday, Chrome!

Chrome's my favorite.

Happy birthday Chrome! ! !

Yeah, I LOVE Chrome. It is so fast, and renders most websites perfectly. I wish other browser venders would take after Google and really focus on performance and compatibility.
-
Main browser is Opera, backup browser is Chrome. New version seems pretty good.
-
I find FF smoother than Chrome. Chrome only appears faster as it's "choppier" loading. Not very pleasant.
-
I love google chrome. And im sure its the fastest browser around...Firefox is just too "heavy" for me.
-
I like Chrome but some sites are IE compliant and they won't let you log on unless you use IE. This is specially true for online financing transactions. I use IE8 and Maxthon browsers.
-
Sticking with FF as a main browser till some NoScript equivalent is release for chrome, but it does run great on some older gen machines where resource pinching is key
-
I use FF most of the time because my school targets IE and FF with most of their pages. At work I use IE8 and Chrome.
-
I had many issues with Chrome not playing/loading videos on youtube or other video sites. Since then I have gone back to FF.

After being a Firefox loyalist for so long [probably the last 5 years or so], I finally completely switched to Chrome. Especially after I just bought my new netbook and installed Windows 7 to dual-boot with my XP installation here in my laptop. It's mainly because Chrome also now has AdBlock.
But yeah it's really fast and light on resources. I just wish it had some sort of extension equivalent to TabMixPlus, a very handy FF extension.

I tried every browser that I knew.. firefox, chrome, safari, opera, IE, flock, and avant
Chrome is just the fastest and the most stable browser I've ever experienced
happy birthday chrome! -
Two years later and I'm still very wary of using a browser built by the largest advertising company in the history of the internet.
