As stated on under the "tweaked" Config:

"This configuration is not for a Windows Media Center PC. In this case, use "Safe"."

What exactly does this mean. Does this mean that I won't:

1: Be able to play CDs/DVDs/HD-DVDs on my laptop.
2: DL or watch DL'd videos/Audio [Yes, "watch audio". You know what I mean]
3: Hook up my laptop to my TV [either by the HDMI or the TV's PC input. I most likely never will use it in this manner, but still, I guess I should know before I change it.]
    4: Other:__________?
    5: Some of the above: _1, _2, _3, _4.
    6: All of the above.

If there is a problem using media with a few of the "tweaked" settings, does anyone know which those specifically are so that I can leave those alone, or will the "tweaked" settings not interfer with basic media functions with normal use of the laptop?

You'll be able to do all of the above.

The only things that *might* not work are the some features of Windows Media Center, like downloading information about the video/audio being played, electronic programming guide or such (<--not exactly these, but I think you got the idea).

If there is any service there that is set to disabled, but you think you *might* have some use of it, just set it to "Manual".
