Folks sorry if this has already been answered. I need to reload VISTA on my Dell D610. I have a full legit version of XP and upgrade media for VISTA. Do I have to install XP then go through the upgrade process with the VISTA media, or can I do it directly in this manner: (see first work around in this link)
Installing Windows Vista upgrade without 2000 or XP on the hard drive.

PS. kudos to Les and all contributors for the amazing Tweaking Guide. I can not wait to try many of the suggestions to speed up my system! Thanks in advance, Josea
