Hello, I have a HP computer that came with the recovery cds. I just bought a bunch of new hardware(mobo, ram, processor, video card, power supply) and want to install it all and do a clean install of Vista Ultimate.
The problem is that I only have the Recovery disks and I don't want to install all the bloatware and unneeded drivers for hardware I no longer have. How can I do a clean install?

I dont have a HP but when i messed up my new Dell and needed to do a complete re-install i went on to Dell.com and searched for it and found an even easer way to just return the system to vactory default. I tried the recovery CD but i managed to mess that up as well. The directions for restalling the comp to factory settings, just like i just pulled it out of the box was very simple and only took about 10 to 15 minutes. Not sure if that will help u for what u want or if u HP even has that option but just thought i would throw it out there. GOOD LUCK.
