I currently have installed on my computer Windows 7 RC and Vista HP.
I want to keep Vista and replace 7 RC with a clean install of 7 Pro/Ultimate.
Is that possible through the upgrade version in any way?

The way I would see this working is either:
Run Vista, put in the upgrade disc, choose clean install, and install on another partition
    OR
    Upgrade from RC

Are either of those two ways possible? I'm not too sure how the upgrade procedure works or what's possible...

You should be able to just run Windows 7 RC, and insert the Pro/Ultimate disk, and choose the option to upgrade.

Uhm ... I don't think upgrading from RC is doable.
At least official reports from MS indicate it's not.

Besides, I'd sooner do a fresh install instead of messing with the upgrade.
