Cloning my 80GB HD to a 160GB external HD, after which I will insert the 160GB into my laptop. Should I select the option "Set drive active (for booting OS)"?

    Thanks in advance!

What do you mean? Did you mean setting the drive active when the 160GB is already inserted into your laptop? Or before? I think it'll be automatically be read. I tried cloning before but I used Acronis. After configuring settings, my notebook automatically booted up and began the copying. When I read that the cloning was successful, my notebook automatically shutted down. Afterwards, I switched my external hard drive to the hard drive installed in my lappy. I turned my notebook on, and presto, as if nothing my old internal hd was not changed at all. I suppose the same procedure applies in Norton 15, Norton Ghost, etc.
