This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Closing Punkbuster?

    Installed this netlimiter software just then and noticed punkbuster is running? why is that? how do i close it down i tried msconfig and task manager but it doesnt appear there?

    I dont even play games online so why isit running and stealing my internet :p

    If you go to the control panel and go to administrative tools there is a services icon, click that and punkbuster should be on that list.
