I was trying to play a video and this msg came up saying that the audio format is not supported along with code 8192 which I researched and found some things that should have worked but did not :/ so at this point I'm stumped.

fyi the video starts but has no sound.

any help would be appreciated or suggestions for other video programs that support alot of formats.

    What video player is it?

Well it seems it is an AC3 error as described and its not uncommon, Maybe its a lack of a particular codec?

Try running this a good bundle of codecs. Perhaps you already have.
