Nope, you have to browse the hole thread like everyone, I particularly remember one driver in conflict was the fingerprint interface driver.

All I can say is this: I downloaded the 316Mb file and saved it. And burnt it to CD.

I then installed it to see what would happen. Quite a long install considering my computer was already up to date with all the SP2 latest releases and hotfixes etc.

After the SP3 installation my boot times were much slower than before.

So, I expected this as I had not cleaned all the crud yet from the registry etc.

I decided to leave all alone and just use the computer normaly and see what happens.

I am happy to report that XP runs flawlessly with SP3. After day 4 of a completely stable system I used CC Cleaner and removed all of the junk and stuff that the install of SP3 put on my computer.

The result is a lappie that boots as with quickly as before (if not quicker) and is absolutely rock solid. Applications seem to open quicker too.

Personally, I think MS did a great job with XP SP3.

    Cheers :D ,
    Theo

As all of the tech savvys, I`d recommend that if you want to install SP3, get the file and burn it to a cd, then do a full system reinstall.
Otherwise you`ll have driver issues. I had some with my wifi module and bluetooth.

In case you lose intenet connection during the installation process and need to re-install sp3, I suppose this is the reason why. I did it directly from the web and I have no issues so far.

    Not what they wrote... :)
Just downloaded the 300 mb file and place on another partition...
Unless they are writing about integration on Windows XP with nLite...
