When I got Vista, the one feature that pushed me to get Ultimate edition instead of Home Premium was Complete PC Backup (as opposed to the "Backup Files" feature in Home Premium and lower editions).

I'm trying to figure out which editions of 7 will have Complete PC Backup. I read Paul Thurott's Windows 7 Product Editions comparison, and he mentions Windows Backup (under Reliability features) showing it available in all editions. What exactly does he mean by "Windows Backup"? Can he be referring to Complete PC Backup?

I thought maybe MSFT seeing that OSX already has Time Machine built-in (which is different than Windows Backup but allows the user to completely restore a PC image) they decided that it was worthwhile putting it in all editions of 7, but I wish I can confirm this.

    Anyone know?
