I have a 6 year old computer, and it was running like a champ until today I tried booting it up, but the problem(s) are...

1.I don't see anything on my screen, not even the BIOS
2.I can hear Windows Loading but it will infinitely loop

I tried putting in a new HDD to no avail (it doesn't have an OS so it didn't load that)

any suggestions? Not sure what to do here.

I have reset the CMOS battery btw...

If you can't see anything on your screen, try plugging in another monitor to determine whether its the monitor, then use the integrated motherboard graphics instead of the video card to determine whether the problem lies with the video card.

I have tried another monitor, tried the IGP, switched out HDDs without an OS, changed RAM sticks, nothing...

Can you boot from a CD/DVD? What if you ran the OS repair from a Vista/XP disk?
