I have Windows XP Professional installed on my computer, and today when I tried to turn it off after using it, it just restarts without powering down. I tried several times afterward and the same problem occurs again. Now I can only shut it down by holding the power button. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

How are you turning your PC off? Are you actually going to "Start -> Turn off Computer" or are you just pressing your power button?
