This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Confused about Administrator Rights and Changing Permissions

    Hey all.

    I just bought a laptop today that came installd with vista. I'm trying to install a custome theme (patched with vista glazz) already, but i can't seem to override one of the files that i need to replace.

    Everytime i try it says that I dont have permission, and I can't figure out for the love of god how to change the permissions. I' right click on it > properties > securities, and try to select "trusted installer" but it still won't let me do anything!

    can somebody help me please? this is getting frustrating (and stupid).
