I'm running the laptop in my sig & often use either the synaptics touchpad or my Logitech VX nano mouse.

As standard without any non-MS drivers the touchpad has basic functionality & the mouse works fine. The only issue is the lack of customisation/features with both devices & very a very slow touchpad.

With the synaptics driver & Logitech's SetPoint installed I have full functionality of both devices & their speeds can be set (practically) individually, using the Vista settings as a base (& applied to the touchpad as-is) & the SetPoint settings in addition for the mouse.

The problem is upon reboot, Vista's pointer speed is returned to default & pointer precision is disabled. This makes both devices slow & inaccurate, causing me to max the speed & enable pointer precision each time I login. I've heard of other users with the same issue but I've seen no solution.

What I want to know is how to set Vista's pointer options via the command line. If that works as expected then it can be simply added to the task scheduler for each startup.

    Thank you.
