    Hello all:

I was wondering if there is any software available to convert 7zip files into a playable video format? Is there something I am doing wrong here? I can't seem to get it to work. I had a bunch of files and I archived them using 7-zip and thought that I would just be able to play that but I need to change the format somehow I think.

Sorry, I am pretty much a novice at this type of thing. Thanks in advence.

You need to unarchive them in order to play them.

But then I just have a bunch of little files again don't I? I want them all together as one file. 7-Zip compressed the files together.

You can't play them while they're compressed.

Ok, thank you, so how do I go about uncompressing them? The original files were .r15 files if that helps at all. Thanks for the speedy response!

Use the same program you used to compress them. Sounds like you compressed RAR compressed files.

Ok, my options in 7zip are as follows:

add, extract, test, copy, move, delete, and info

I'm not seeing an option to uncompress. Sorry for the annoyance, quite embarassing

Using extract runs the program but then it doesn't seem to produce another file as a result. Getting rather frustrated. Thank you very muh for your help, plus rep.

If it's a RAR archive divided into multiple files, there should be one with a .rar extension, then .r00, .r01, .r02, .r03, etc. If you extract the .rar file, it should automatically extract all of them and reassemble the file.
