Trying to convert a video file on a cd to an audio file.

For example, you have live music on video on a cd but your stereo cd player can't run it. I'd like to create an audio disk with just the audio.

Just want to know what is the most effective way (program) for doing this.

You mean ripping the audio from the video file?

DVD audio extractor can only rip DVD's because theres lots of options and settings. I actually purchased it. It will not work for video files or audio cd's. It will only work for .vob DVD's

Adobe Audition can also rip out the audio from a video file but again its not free.

    Try out what qhn suggested
