    Hey guys,
I need some guidance in converting an AVI/AC3audio video to DVD which can be played back on my DVD player.
An easy way would be to get Nero I would've thought but I not paying the cash to pay it and nor do I like the fact of illegally downloading it.

Can anyone give me some steps and suggest programs to convert AVI to DVD (possibly with AC3 audio) and then burn on DVD.

    Thanks,
    Jam.
