Hey all. I after I shutdown my laptop, pulled away Expresscard to USB 3.0 with Transcend Jeflash inside, then put all back and turned on my lappy i got a problem. At first time Mozilla launched I did not see ANY bookmark at all! Just a free spacebar.
After I restarted Firefox it was on it's place again. But now every time I type site i need to sign in! EVERYWHERE. Even THEM ON NBR Forum was changed!
    What a Heck?!

I got to say that my flash and my RAM are used by eBoostr for caching but I already did what I did before! It was second time I pull expresscard with flash when computer was turned off.

I could not restore system because... there was no restore point! O MB from couple gigs of available space I have let it! This is second time this stupid restore point put balls ON ME! Of course I have system image but it is very old.

So guys, if you are pro in software then help me... Please.

For now eset online antivirus is searching for viruses. Then I will give a try to my Avira which is always turned on.

    2 questions:
    What OS are you using?
Why are you trying to accomplish by using eboostr?

    1. My OS is Windows 7 x64
    2. Because it works. Without eBoostr I should either buy SSD or defrag my computer, use registry cleaners/tweaks, delete autoruns and still wait, wait, wait. What I know is that without eBoostr I will become insane with my 5400 HDD. Without it it's like start using old IDE laptop with 1 GB memory instead of mine.

well, guess you messed up your firefox profile. basic fix approach: create new profile, set up everything from fresh there, all is fine.
works rather quick if you have used some profile synching tool (from firefox, or an addon). you could still do that now, even, as a first.

So are you sure this eboostr is better than the readyboost feature built into windows7? Personally I've never tried using a usb key as a cache.

    Readyboost info
ReadyBoost - Windows 7 features - Microsoft Windows

    About registy cleaners.
Boot Performance - Engineering Windows 7 - Site Home - MSDN Blogs
Steven Sinofsky, Windows President at Microsoft, had this to say in the Windows engineering blog.

Well I thought that maybe it is some hosts error, virus, HDD fault etc. Now I have all my bookmarks. And my passwords are still saved. But FF just refreshed its settings about all sites. Every new site I go since yesterday I need to log in. After that all looks fine with this site.
I would understand if I had used some cleaning tool like CCleaner or smth but I deleted nothing!
Are you sure that I need to create new profile because with new profile I still need to write all passwords again when I first time visit url-page.

Yeah, I'm sure. The same as other defragmentation Tools are better than built-in defragger (someone won't agree with me).

Of course you need to pay 39$ for using all advantages over ReadyBoost but lets imagine at 1 moment that they both are free there is no doubt that eBoostr is what user with HDD needs.
eBoostr use not only USB flash drive but RAM, 2-nd HDD, all other externals devices you can imagine. It gives you exclude list, set high priority on programs you need most of all etc. The only disadvantage is that USB flash drive shortens its lifetime and if you use RAM it will increase little bit boot time from black screen to log-on but it will cut boot time from log-on screen to fully working and responsive desktop. Nowadays using USB 3.0 and Jetflash 700 8GB (53/15 MB/sec) or 16GB (70/20 MB/sec) (I told about 2 flash drives not because of their size but because of their different tranfer rates. You need only 2-4 GB on USB drive) and 1-1.5 Gb of RAM will boost your performance to heaven.

However I do not promote to buy this software. It is only if you decided yourself that you need increase speeds. You can check if it is available to download trial version of PRO eBoostr. I remember I was able to do that in the past (9 month ago or so). If it will be just desktop/notebook or light version - PM me. I will try to search that promo trial version or smth. I don't remember it very well now.

well, it happens from time to time. ff messed up my profile more than once. and that was one typical behaviour, then.
