Mods please move this if this is not the correct forum. I just bought a Toshiba A205-6812 after my old cpu crashed. I had a guy pull all my music off my old cpu and he put it on a Cosmos Superlink external drive. Now Vista says all the drivers are updated but when I turn it on it just safely removes hardware. If I click for it to search for a fix it just says that it can not load and ask me to send error report. Does anyone have any ideas on what I might try next? My old cpu was XP could that be the problem? I just thought a MP3 was a MP3 Vista or XP. TIA.

    This is what I get...

    Description:
Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 10.

Files that help describe the problem:

    C:\Windows\inf\usbstor.inf

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get my music off there?

No one? Should I use a cpu with XP and then try to move it from there to this one?
