After browsing through the Best Free Software for Windows thread (which offered some great suggestions for utilities etc to install on my new Dell E1405) I'm still in search for an app that will allow me to minimize programs to the system tray.

I'm using a neat little program to control iTunes/WMP on my desktop from my laptop... PlayerPal ( http://www.playerpal.com/). So far its working nicely... since getting the E1405 I've dedicated my desktop to a Media PC and PlayerPal does everything I needed. It'd be nice to have iTunes tucked away in the system tray rather than it constantly being on the taskbar.

Any help with my request for such an app is greatly appreciated! :D

BTW Love the forums, lots of good info on here. Did my research here before I purchased my Dell, and I definetely made a good decision with this baby. Love it!

If the only thing you're looking for is iTunes, it already has this feature built in, no? If you go to the advanced tab under preferences, there should be a check box for "Show iTunes icon in system tray" and then "Minimize iTunes window to system tray." Is that what you're looking for?

I am using the built-in tray functionality of iTunes but theres a few other programs that I'd like to minimize to the tray.. I'll check out TrayIt see if that does the job.

    Thanks!
