More problems. Just installed vista 32bit on a new hard drive today. The first thing I did was install the 70+ windows updates. Then I updated some drivers. Now, I can't restart my computer. When I try, the computer shuts down normally and starts booting up again. After the microsoft loading bar finishes a BSOD flashes and the laptop crashes. It then starts booting up again and the whole process repeats.

The weird thing is that shutting down the computer normally and then turning it back on works fine though. Does anyone know what's causing this?

Not enough information. Are you getting any error codes? Are you able to boot into safe mode? Do you have SP1?

First, did you install all 70+ updates at one go, without ever restarting the system?

Second, why on earth did you do that instead of simply installing SP1 - that would have given you most of the updates in one single, integrated package.
