I would like to upgrade my Windows Vista HP SP2 laptop to Windows 7, however, I don't want to lose the ability to do a factory restore, in the unfortunate scenario of me catching a virus of some sort. Are there programs that will allow me the option of restoring to factory settings? What are my options?

Create a set of recovery disks using HP utilities and you are set.
