Had been a user of XP for long now. Recently got myself a Satellite A305-S6872, with preloaded Vista Home SP1. Its better than what I had learned about it.
But the only thing that alarmed me was that the critical battery warning in Vista is not so very prominent. At times it goes unnoticed and the system goes into hibernation.
Is there any tips or tweaks available for this, like some kind of popup message or warning. ??

Batter "tools" is your best bet for this...

Just plow through the list - some programmes may inlcude a battery "utility" - that's a dedicated one.
