    Cropping AVI

    Hi does anyone know of any good programs that can crop avi video files and not result in too much quality lost?

    I use AVI splitter and joiner from boilsoft.com. Also works with many other file formats. NO quality loss whatsoever. It doesn't change anything other than joining or cropping your file. Very simple to use. Straight forward GUI.

    AVIs are uncompressed media containers. You can manipulate AVIs and not ever worry about losing quality. It's when you move to compressed formats (DivX, mpeg, etc) that you lose quality when editing them.

    Of course, in this context I'm assuming the AVIs in question are video captures or some other pristine format.

    Hmm. That program doesnt have cropping option. Anyone know of easy ways to do this?
