    Can I dual boot between Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows VIsta Ultimate ??

    I have a legal copy of Windows Vista Home Basic on my machine and I just want a flavor of Ultimate Edition. Can I dual Boot ?? :confused:

    Should be possible.. haven't tried with Vista, but You could do it till XP Pro, so I can see no reason why you wouldn't, for vista.

    You might be already aware of this. You can try out Vista Ultimate on trial from the same DVD. When prompted to enter product key don't enter any. Continue with the warnings and then select to install ultimate. You are allowed 30 days before activation is required.

    Yea. It is possible. Just setup Ultimate on another partition and off you go!

    Do not enter the product key; so as to install in the trial mode. You can technically use the trial for 180 days using the slmgr.vbs -rearm trick.
