    DPI Settings

    I have a wierd problem with DPI. Mine is set to 100 (which is optimum for 1440x900 res)

    My Switch User, Restart, Shut Down etc. icon which is next to Lock, is almost invisible. (See the pic below)

    Alos my IE7`s text is not as big as i would like to.

    Any suggestions?

    Hold ctrl and scroll up to increase text size in IE.

    hahahaha... wtf did you hear that 100 dpi was optimal for wxga+???

    it's 96 like every other resolution

    Thats a 17 inch 1440x900. DPI should be 100x100.

    Is there anyway to have a DPI setting of 100 on the regular laptop but 96 if connected to an external monitor?

    I don't believe you can do that. It is a system wide setting.
