I remember reading this from a while back, about Windows 7 handling DPI scaling very well. Anyone tried it? Does it work?

How does it compare to Vista? Vista just seems kind of out of wack when used at other DPIs, nothing quite looks like it should. Is Windows 7 the same?

It works very well. The screen looks totally sharp and natural when viewed at 125%.

    There are only three options:
    100%
    125%
    150%

EDIT: at 150% there is some loss of sharpness, but it still looks very good.

Interestingly, Gadgets don't get resized when you increase the magnification.

I wish I could decrease the DPI sometimes. Unfortunately, there aren't too many 13.3" screens with a higher than 1280x800 resolution. I wish there were (besides the Lenovo), because I could use the extra screen real estate.
