    can anyone help me please? my dvd player has stopped working. the player is a tsst corp cddvdw ts-L632H ata device. it says windows cannot start the hardware device because the configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (code 19)

    It's a common problem when you uninstall certain DVD burner software, they change the registry and don't put it back the way it was.
    Try system restore first and if that doesn't work use the Microsoft method in Goofballs post, this should allow windows to recognize you dvd again.
