What is the best software to rip DVDs to a computer that is compatible with Vista? (The software doesn't have to be free.)

for ripping i use Nero(purchase)
for compressing i use DVD Shrink(free)
for converting avi to DVD i use ConvertXtoDVD(purchase)
for resync'ing audio/video within avi files i use AVIMux_GUI and DivXRepair(both freeware) -
DVD Shrink hasn't been supported for quite some time. A lot of newer discs won't work with it. DVDFab Decrypter is free and works quite well.

. DvdFab (free) to rip
. DVDShrink (free) to "shrink"/decode size to fit one 4.7gb dvd
. Nero 6x, Ashampoo Burn7 etc ... to burn ($-$$)
cheers ...
