I have read a lot that there is already a 64bit version of Deamon tools out there...... but every time I try to install the file that is supposed to be x64 version, it is trying to install into Program Files (x86). If I just change the path and make it install into regular (x64) Program Files, will it run as 64bit version? or can somebody please link to the 64bit installer?!Thank you so much... :)

actually, they are calling that a 32 and 64 bit app, but since it installs to that directory, I would say it's really a 32bit os and should run under either......

go to your task manager when running the program.

look for the daemon tools process... if it has *32.exe in the end then it is being emulated into a 32bit enviroment meaning its not a true 64bit program

good call.....I check with task mnger and It does say *32. So now the question is, is it just because I have installed it into x86 program files, do I have a bad version of Daemon (is there actually one that wouldnt say *32 in task manager?)....does anyone has such a version? mine now is from the link posted above...just to clarify... :) that is that "64bit" Daemon.....

Id have to say that its program code isnt really native 64bit

Its probably just compatible with x64 but not a true x64 program
