    I haven't used it, but I don't own an lcd or notebook.. perhaps this would be useful. It could be a fast way to verify a purchase in person, if they allow you to use it first, or diagnose just how many blown/stuck pixels you have. May the force be with you :)

    thanks! a great small app.

    this can also be used to check out light bleed issues and overall image quality. This software lets you see what "black" looks like on an LCD. It also lets you see other problems. For example My Dell's Samsung LCD is (a little) darker in the corners than in the middle. Black is also not very black.

    I have a dead pixel smack right in the centre of my screen. It's so close to the centre, infact, that I use it as a crosshair in my shooter games.
