Windows Vista
I googled this topic an could not find it. How do I set the default volume at the startup of Windows Vista. Right now it is low and I have to adjust it every time I start the computer.
I know I need to go into regedit, but not sure where.

There is nothing like default volume. The volume will stay at whatever you level you had lset when shutting down. What audio card do you have?

as coolguy mentioned, it should stay where you left off when shutting the comp down

Agreed. If your value is not memorized then it's a sound card or sound card driver related problem, not Windows.
