    Default wmv player

    Hi guys,

    I just installed klite codec and now my default player is media player classic.

    How do i change back to windows player 9?

    Try going into the classic player and in options unchecking all the file associations. Then in WMP do the same.. only in reverse... either that or right click on the video you want to play and go to the open with option... highlight WMP and check always preform this action.

    Start>Set Program Access and Defaults>Custom>Media Player>Windows Media Player.
    If you cannot find step2 in your Start menu, go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Set Program Access and Defaults.

    You can also try uninstalling Klite and the on the next install uncheck the old media player and then it will ask you to associate all extensions to the current (WMP9 or whatever) player. I play everything in WMP11!
