I am so sick of everything appearing and opening and talking in the Finnish language.
My OS is German windows 7 ultimate which i changed to use English.

The problem is, everything picks up the stupid finnish from my location.
I.E. Google, Clock on the bottom right, Myspace, some installations...

So is there any way to make things appear in English?

It is the keyboard that drives the apps from deciding which language to use.

For websites, the language you get is chosen either by looking at your IP address ( geolocation) or the language(s) your browser requests ( Accept-Language HTTP header, this should be configurable somewhere in your browser settings, for Firefox: Edit/Preferences/Content/Languages).

Locally running non-web applications will look at your language and regional settings, but many allow you to override the default choice... dig around in their settings to see if yours do.

I actually figured i had put a Finnish format on my clock. It now shows months and weekdays in English.

I can't find the path you said, although my "preferred language for displaying pages" has always been English. (probably because i downloaded English version of firefox)
