Hello all,
I just completed my full maintance on my laptop. Durring the defrag, I remember someone here said that you can't fully defrag the files. After I defrag 10 times (that's normal for me), I read the logs, it said I have no files to defrag.
Here is the logs on both partitions.

Now, I hardly believed that I am only one here who has fully defrag HD. Dont you think its odd???

The less free space and the bigger file sizes you have make it much harder to fully defrag the drive. I don't think defragging 10 times to get it fully defragged is a good idea either way; having a few fragment files (likely large files that you don't use often, like the source engine stuff) won't really slow down anything; and moving all the files around with so many defrags needlessly wears out your hdd. Probably nothing significant, but either way it's a waste of time.

Use Auslogics Defrag.

From the look of that log he already has a good (paid) defrag program (probably O&O or Diskeeper or PerfectDisk)
Auslogics is way better than the built in defragger obviously, but its not as good as the ones I mentioned. -

I noticed. Use Auslogics.

Thank you for the suggestion. RedSensiStar. But as you can see, I am perfectly fine w/ built-in program.

Woops, I didn't remember the windows defragger having a detailed log.
I could never get a good defrag with the windows one; since there's no offline defrag to get the locked/system files. And I remember it being slow as hell; how you can do it in 15 minutes is beyond me (unless the drive was barely fragmented to begin with).
Edit: oh it's cause you're barely using up any space on the drive.
If your hdd starts to fill up, the windows defragger starts to really suck. -
I was working lots of video files, but later, I just moved them on my external HD. The last time I did the full maintence was about two months ago.
